Wentworth Partners & Associates, Inc is an architectural and engineering consulting/design corporation focused on complete design solutions. WPA was founded in January 2009 by two Wentworth Institute of Technology alumni whose formation of WPA was based on the premise that design services could be done efficiently, economically, and professionally without the external costs to the client for unnecessary overhead.
WPA’s greatest strength is the ability to manage a project by putting together the best possible team to match the individual challenges of that project. By incorporating numerous business partners from sole-proprietary engineering firms to semi-retired practicing engineers WPA provides its clients with the most efficient design service in the market.
Mr. Govoni runs our office in Maine and loves the challenge of the engineering profession. He has been involved in many aspects of Architectural Design, Civil and Structural Engineering, and Construction Management for almost 35 years. Mr. Govoni enjoys any chance to spend time with his family.
He is extremely proud of his two children and is constantly amazed by their abilities, humor, and good citizenship. Recently an empty-nester he has been reconnecting with his beautiful wife, Lyn, as they plan the next phase of their lives together. Mr. Govoni lives by the motto “Work hard. Play hard. Rest hard.” In his downtime, you will find him swimming, hiking, biking, or simply relaxing on his dock.

WPA has been very lucky to have Mr. Campbell on our team since July of 2018, as he is considered an Archicad “super star” by those in the drafting world. Mr. Campbell graduated with an Associate Degree in Architectural Building Engineering Technology from Vermont Technical College in 1998.
He immediately began his career at WHS Homes, while living in Windsor, VT, designing and pricing homes for their 3 brands; Timberpeg®, Real Log Homes®, and American Post & Beam®. In 2007, he moved to Clinton, Maine with his family and continued to work for WHS Homes remotely. He came on board with WPA after 20 years of his expertise in design! During time off, Mr. Campbell enjoys time with his wife and two sons, spending time with family in general, camping, boating, fishing, and ice fishing.

WPA welcomed Mr. Decker-Demanarig on board in March of 2021. He is truly a Wentworth Partner, because in 2007 he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering Technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology! Upon graduating, he worked for Peachy Construction in New York City until 2014. He decided to move back to Massachusetts and got his Master of Architecture from Boston Architectural College in 2017.
While pursuing his Master’s degree, he also worked for Botticelli & Pohl Architects until 2020. While WPA utilizes ArchiCAD as its primary drafting tool, Mr. Decker-Demanarig offers us his expertise in many other programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino and SketchUP. In his spare time, Mr. Decker-Demanarig enjoys spending time with his family, working out, browsing the flea markets, shooting at the archery range, vacationing, or just spending a quiet day at home watching cheesy 80s/90s shows.

Mr. Timken began working with WPA in May of 2022. He grew up in the Colorado Rocky Mountains and went to the University of Colorado Boulder for both his Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Civil Engineering. Mr. Timken started working when he was fresh out of college doing specialty Building Information Modeling with Revit before jumping over to a small structural engineering firm in Colorado.
There he worked as a design engineer for two years before making the big move across the country to Maine to work with Wentworth Partners & Associates as a structural engineer. In his time off, Mr. Timken enjoys hiking, reading, working out, and the occasional video game.

Mr. Dennison had been the chief engineer for his father-in-law’s Boston based engineering firm and upon his father-in-law’s retirement in 1954, he took ownership of the firm and founded it as Denco Engineering, Inc. He carried it forth for forty-nine years before passing it on to Wentworth Partners and Associates. He was a 1948 graduate of the Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology of Boston and was our second generation of engineering leadership at WPA.
He was an award-winning engineer, responsible for everything from highway bridges to complex high-rise buildings to historical retrofit projects. He was a licensed Structural Engineer in all six New England states and New York. Mr. Dennison lived and worked most of his life in the Greater Boston area before retiring to Lagrange, Maine in 2004. His mentorship of the successor principals of WPA (shown below) provided a solid foundation of technical, ethical, and value engineering skills to maintain the Gold Standard of the firm and continuity with existing clients to this day.
