Mr. Govoni serves as Principal and Manager of WPA’s Maine office, bringing nearly 35 years of experience in Architectural Design, Civil and Structural Engineering, and Construction Management. Throughout his career, he has developed a reputation for providing practical, efficient solutions to complex engineering challenges. He firmly believes that every problem presents an opportunity for innovation and thoughtful problem-solving, a philosophy that continues to guide his work and client relationships.
Mr. Govoni takes great pride in his family and values every opportunity to spend time with them. He is especially proud of his two children and their accomplishments, character, and sense of humor. As a recent empty-nester, he and his wife, Lyn, have enjoyed reconnecting and planning the next chapter of their lives together.
Outside of work, Mr. Govoni embraces his personal motto, “Work hard. Play hard. Rest hard.” In his free time, he enjoys swimming, hiking, biking, and relaxing on his dock while taking in the beauty of Maine.
Mr. Petross recently joined WPA in June of 2026 as a Senior Bridge Engineer, bringing eight years of experience in bridge and general structural engineering, civil engineering design, and project management. He has been involved in the design and construction of a wide range of bridge projects, from single-span structures approximately 50 feet in length to multi-span bridges extending up to 950 feet. His experience supports the delivery of practical, efficient, and well-coordinated structural solutions across complex transportation projects.
Mr. Petross earned a Master of Civil Engineering degree with a structural emphasis from Johns Hopkins University in 2021. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Maine, Kentucky, Nebraska, Colorado, South Dakota, and Wyoming, reflecting his broad professional licensure and commitment to engineering practice across multiple states.
Outside of work, Mr. Petross enjoys spending time with his wife and their five cats. In his free time, he can often be found fishing and boating whenever possible.
BRODY E. MILLER
ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN
Mr. Miller serves as an Engineering Technician at WPA, bringing 10 years of experience across a variety of construction and technical positions. His diverse background has provided him with a strong foundation in the construction industry and the technical aspects of engineering projects, allowing him to contribute practical knowledge and support to a wide range of project needs.
Mr. Miller graduated from the University of Maine in 2025. His combination of formal education and hands-on industry experience allows him to approach projects with a practical, detail-oriented perspective while continuing to build on his technical expertise.
Outside of work, Mr. Miller enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. In his free time, he can often be found playing tennis, working out, cooking, or relaxing at the beach.
Mr. Govoni serves as an Engineering Technician in WPA’s Maine office and brings six years of experience in the engineering field. He specializes in the design and rating of short-span steel bridges, providing technical expertise and support on a variety of bridge-related projects. His attention to detail and commitment to quality contribute to the successful delivery of practical and reliable engineering solutions.
Outside of work, Mr. Govoni enjoys spending time outdoors and can often be found hiking, particularly peak-bagging, or enjoying the slopes during the winter snowboarding season.
Mr. Bugay serves as a Staff Engineer in Training in WPA’s Maine office, bringing four years of experience to the team. He specializes in structural engineering and architectural design, with a particular focus on the architectural and structural design of buildings. His combination of engineering and design expertise allows him to contribute to projects from both technical and creative perspectives.
In 2024, Mr. Bugay earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from San Diego State University and is continuing his education by pursuing a Master of Architecture at the University of Southern California. He is a licensed Engineer in Training (EIT) in California and is committed to further developing his knowledge and skills within the engineering and architectural professions.
Outside of work, Mr. Bugay enjoys staying active through a variety of outdoor and recreational activities. In his free time, he can often be found skiing, surfing, hiking, or participating in other sports and adventures.
Mrs. Govoni serves as the Part-Time Office Manager and Bookkeeper for WPA, bringing 15 years of experience in office administration, bookkeeping, client relations, and financial management. Her expertise in client service and QuickBooks helps support the daily operations of the firm, ensuring efficient communication and organization across a variety of administrative functions.
Mrs. Govoni earned a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Northeastern University in Boston. Prior to joining WPA, she spent more than 30 years providing speech and language services in both clinical and school settings. Following a successful career dedicated to helping others develop communication skills, she retired from speech-language pathology and transitioned into her current role supporting the firm’s operations.
Outside of work, Mrs. Govoni enjoys spending time with her husband, Steven, and their two adult children. She is the Founder and President of Lights Up Productions, an organization dedicated to revitalizing the historic Skowhegan Opera House and promoting community theater. In her free time, she enjoys road and mountain biking, flower gardening, boating, and participating in local arts and community initiatives.
Mr. Campbell joined WPA in July of 2018, bringing more than 20 years of experience in architectural drafting and residential design. Widely regarded as an Archicad expert, he is known throughout the drafting community for his proficiency with the software and his ability to produce high-quality, detailed designs. His extensive experience and technical expertise make him a valuable member of the WPA team.
Mr. Campbell earned an Associate Degree in Architectural Building Engineering Technology from Vermont Technical College in 1998. Following graduation, he began his career with WHS Homes in Windsor, Vermont, where he designed and priced homes for the company’s Timberpeg®, Real Log Homes®, and American Post & Beam® brands. After relocating to Clinton, Maine with his family in 2007, he continued working remotely for WHS Homes before joining WPA in 2018.
Outside of work, Mr. Campbell enjoys spending time with his wife, two sons, and extended family. In his free time, he can often be found camping, boating, fishing, or ice fishing.

Mr. Smith serves as Principal and Manager of WPA’s Amesbury, Massachusetts office. He brings extensive experience in structural design, structural restoration, and project management, with a proven ability to identify efficient, practical, and economical solutions to complex engineering challenges. His expertise also includes concrete and masonry design, restoration, and repair, making him a valuable resource for a wide range of structural projects.
Mr. Smith graduated summa cum laude from Wentworth Institute of Technology in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Following graduation, he began his career with Walker Parking Consultants, where he worked until 2003. He then joined Denco Engineering, gaining six years of additional experience before partnering with his long-time friend, colleague, and fellow engineer, Steve Govoni, to establish Wentworth Partners & Associates in 2009.
Outside of work, Mr. Smith enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. In his free time, he enjoys vacationing, kayaking, fishing, and following professional sports.
Mr. Decker-Demanarig joined WPA in March of 2021, bringing a strong background in architectural engineering and design. He is a Wentworth Institute of Technology graduate, earning a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering Technology in 2007. Following graduation, he worked for Peachy Construction in New York City until 2014, gaining valuable field experience before returning to Massachusetts to pursue a Master of Architecture at the Boston Architectural College, which he completed in 2017.
While completing his graduate studies, he also worked with Botticelli & Pohl Architects through 2020, further strengthening his design and professional experience. At WPA, he contributes advanced technical expertise across multiple design platforms, including ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, and SketchUp, supporting a wide range of drafting and architectural projects.
Outside of work, Mr. Decker-Demanarig enjoys spending time with his family and staying active. In his free time, he can often be found working out, browsing flea markets, practicing at the archery range, traveling, or enjoying a quiet day at home watching classic 80s and 90s shows.
Mr. Bukoski serves as a Senior Engineer at WPA, bringing more than 40 years of experience providing civil, geotechnical, and environmental engineering consulting services. Throughout his career, he has developed extensive expertise across multiple engineering disciplines and is recognized for his technical knowledge and commitment to delivering practical solutions for a wide range of projects.
Mr. Bukoski earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with Honors from the University of Massachusetts in 1979, followed by a Master of Science in Civil-Geotechnical Engineering in 1981. Prior to beginning his engineering career, he proudly served four years in the United States Air Force as a B-52 crewmember stationed at Loring Air Force Base in Maine.
Mr. Bukoski is a registered Professional Engineer in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, a Licensed Professional Engineer in Maine, and a Licensed Site Professional in Massachusetts. He is also a Massachusetts-licensed Title V Septic System Inspector and Soils Evaluator, bringing specialized expertise in environmental and geotechnical engineering services.
Outside of work, Mr. Bukoski jokingly says he has “no spare time,” though when he does, he enjoys procrastinating on home improvement and repair projects.
Mr. Dennison served as the second generation of engineering leadership whose vision and dedication helped shape the foundation of what is now Wentworth Partners & Associates. With nearly five decades of leadership at Denco Engineering, Inc., he oversaw a wide variety of structural engineering projects, earning a reputation for technical excellence, strong leadership, and a commitment to quality that continues to influence the firm today.
Mr. Dennison graduated from the Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology in Boston in 1948. After serving as Chief Engineer for his father-in-law’s Boston-based engineering firm, he assumed ownership upon his father-in-law’s retirement in 1954 and established Denco Engineering, Inc. He led the firm for 49 years before passing its legacy on to Wentworth Partners & Associates.
An award-winning engineer, Mr. Dennison was responsible for projects ranging from highway bridges and complex high-rise buildings to historic rehabilitation and retrofit projects. He was licensed as a Structural Engineer in all six New England states as well as New York, reflecting the breadth of his expertise and professional accomplishments.
Mr. Dennison spent much of his career in the Greater Boston area before retiring to Lagrange, Maine in 2004. His mentorship of the successor principals of WPA established a lasting foundation of technical excellence, ethical leadership, and value engineering that continues to uphold the firm’s high standards and long-standing relationships with its clients.
